What's your Oregon story?
Growing up in the far corner of the far corner, in Westport and later Clatskanie, my world was pretty small. Gradually that changed. Shortly after earning history and teaching degrees from Willamette University, I left Oregon, without much hope of ever returning. A lot can happen in fourteen years. One thing I never expected was the possibility of a return to Salem. Yet here I am. After having lived in numerous places around the Pacific Northwest and a fair degree of travel throughout the country and a lesser degree throughout the world, I'm back home with no intention of leaving again. I'd like to tell the Oregon stories.
